Kingdom Revelator Australia – Issue 79
If someone you love wrote you a letter, wouldn’t you to read it and again? So how much more should we read the Bible which contains the Word of God given to us by the one who died on the cross out of His great love for us. 2 Timothy 3:15 says, from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. The Bible is an instruction manual for a Christian on how to lead a good Christian life, but how many of us have used it to equip us efficiently?
I remember meeting an old friend at Church; she walked me to her home to show me the way when I said I do not know where she lives, just to make sure I did not get lost. Did you ever wonder how Jesus walks with us on our journey to heaven? He will never abandon us nor leave us halfway. When we place our trust in Him, He will lead us to our destination.
On this journey, God has given us another helper, the Holy Spirit. On the feast of the Pentecost, Christians worldwide prayed for a new anointing of the Holy Spirit; “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you” (John 14:26). We also have the Blessed Mother and the Saints to offer help throughout our life. So, our dear Saviour gives us every possible help to lead us to Heaven. He will never abandon us nor forsake us, and so we can be sure of Christ walking beside us every step of the way.
