Kingdom Revelator Australia – Issue 96
No burden is too heavy, no sin too great, no problem too difficult, no fear too big that you cannot take to Jesus in prayer. Trust in God to deliver you. “The Lord’s arm is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear” (Isaiah 59:1). No matter what you have done or where you are in life, you are still worthy of God’s love and mercy. No one is unforgivable, apart from one who commit a blasphemy or speaks against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31-32), because
God is full of unwavering forgiveness and unending mercy.
There is nothing that we cannot take to the Lord in prayer and none that God cannot mend or forgive. Our Lord is a God of mercy and love. St Therese of Avila once said, “prayer in her opinion is nothing else than an intimate sharing between friends; it means taking time frequently to be alone with Him who we know loves us.” Jesus comes to
where we are and invites us to take comfort in Him. “Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).
We are but a thought of God, His idea, and part of His master plan. We are precious in His sight – “Because you are precious in my sight and honoured and I love you” (Isaiah 43:4). We get our identity from Jesus because He made us to love and to be loved.
Jesus loves to rescue us, His beloved creation, from our sins. So, take everything to the Lord in prayer. He clears the chaos of our lives. Choose to pray. Choose to trust in Jesus. Choose to be free.
