Kingdom Revelator – Issue 23
He is Risen
Welcome to the latest issue of Kingdom Revelator. In this Easter season, the name given to the fifty days that follow Easter Sunday, we continue to celebrate the joy of the Risen Lord. The Easter eggs may all be eaten but the cry of the Disciples on the first Easter morning, “He is Risen; Jesus is alive” is still ringing in our hearts. It is a time of joy and celebration when we consider what it means to be a follower of Christ and how our faith helps us to lead an abundant life and to reach out to others.
Features
One of our readers tells us how she began working with the Pro-Life movement and how we too can get involved. There is great feedback from the ‘Drops of Mercy’ campaign that we wrote about in February, asking for donations for a drop-in centre for refugees and asylum seekers. We have included details of a new initiative that is encouraging people from around the world to pray a Novena for a New Pentecost in the Church. We also feature an interview with Ros Powell, a very gifted speaker, who tells us what it was like to speak at
one of the biggest prisons in Europe. There is also the usual mix of articles, testimonies and Bible stories. We also try to answer your questions about the Church teaching on what happens after death. It’s a difficult subject but one that can affect us at any time and it is comforting to know that our loved ones, who have died, even though they are not perfect Saints can be assured of a place with the Lord in His heavenly Kingdom.
Thanks
Thanks to everyone who has sent in an article, a testimony or a drawing. We love to hear how God is working in your lives. If you have an encouraging story or testimony, please send it to us at kfkmag@gmail.com. Your experience could help others to experience the joy of the Risen Lord in their lives. Lord, by your Cross and Resurrection you have set us free. You are the Saviour of the World!
